An additional piece, “My Personal Journey into the 12 Steps,” presents a poetic walkthrough of all twelve steps, offering a broad spiritual perspective on recovery as a continuous process of awakening, humility, and service.
From the archives, the history of the Stittsville Second Chance Group traces its founding in 1990 and its development into a stable, welcoming meeting with a strong structure of discussion formats and regular speaker meetings. The article highlights the group’s growth, commitment to service, and focus on providing a supportive environment for both newcomers and long-time members.
