Alkathon

The Ottawa A.A. Alkathon is a series of continuous A.A. meetings held during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Its purpose is to provide a safe, supportive, and sober space for anyone who needs fellowship during a time of year that can be especially difficult for people in recovery. Meetings run back-to-back for extended hours, with rotating chairpersons and topics, and are open to all A.A. members and newcomers. Many groups participate by hosting individual time slots, offering fellowship, refreshments, and a place to connect when regular meetings may be closed for the holidays.

The Alkathon is built on the spirit of service, unity, and accessibility—no registration is required, and all are welcome. Visit www.alkathon.ca.
